Laetrile Information Page, treatment for cancer

Laetrile is claimed by its supporters to be an effective way to treat cancer. However the medical establishment does not accept it and over the past decades parts of that establishment have gone to extraordinary lengths to suppress it.

Laetrile (pronounced lay-eh-trill) is derived from amygdalin (or amygdaline), a naturally occurring substance, and is sometimes referred to as vitamin B17.

This website sets out the history of laetrile and some of the evidence in its favor. The author was diagnosed with cancer some years ago and describes his experience in successfully treating his condition with a combination of amygdalin and changes in diet.
